This works also enables us to take better responsibility for our experiences and feelings. It induces empathetic presence to oneself and to others.

This approach of Authentic Movement is based on the work and vision from Zoe Avstreih, offering a liberating form, allowing access to the memories inserted in the body tissues, giving permission to be oneself beyond social conventions and conditionings, enabling us to take better responsibility for our experiences and feelings, inducing empathetic presence to oneself and others.

Participants without AM training are welcome in this series. Possibility to progressively join a long term deepening group for those participating in the 5 classes.

An Exceptional 'rendez-vous'!
Creative treks, contact improvisation and contact with the environment, dance of the elements, ...

An invitation to dance under the vault of giant maple trees, on the shore of the lake, in the deer's open field, on the floating stone at the top of the mountain, at the spring near the blackberries, and under the stars and the eagles.
An occasion to compose and interact with the inner and outer environment, through a research of suitable body-mind states for spontaneous creation and surpassing of our limits.
Between technique and trance, there is our encounter with the dance of now : an improvisation based on being, on receptivity and on openness to nature.

Costs :
$200 > support the art / $170 > regular / $140 > tight budget / $110 > student or unemployed. Sliding scale according to your capacity.

Residential open workshop :
Authentic Movement and metaphorical acts

Starts Friday 5PM, ends Monday 4PM (3 days).

This workshop is open to any person interested in experimenting the power of liberation allowed by Authentic Movement.

This workshop welcomes participants with experience in Authentic Movement.
The open to all mini-series in Montreal can be an excellent preparation to this workshop.

The transition cycle requires commitment to the 3 days of practice, it is open to anyone interested in deep listening work and personal investigation, from the body. This cycle can lead to joining a practice and deepening group.
